[Project Background] Uzbekistan has abundant natural gas resources and is actively promoting the conversion of natural gas into high-value-added chemical products. By introducing China's Methanol-to-Olefins (MTO/MTP) technology, Uzbekistan can convert its abundant natural gas resources into high-value chemicals such as polypropylene and synthetic ammonia, driving the upgrading of its domestic chemical industry.

[Role of Chinese Enterprises] Enterprises under China National Chemical Engineering Group (including "China Chemical No. 1" 7 Construction Co., Ltd.) are undertaking the construction of natural gas chemical integration projects in Uzbekistan, handling the EPC construction of multiple chemical units such as synthetic ammonia/urea production, methanol-to-polypropylene (MTR), and methanol-to-olefins (MTO).

[Scope of Services] L4 EPC general contracting, responsible for the engineering construction of complete sets of units such as natural gas-to-methanol, MTO/MTP, and synthetic ammonia/urea, and introducing China's independently developed MTO/MTP process technology.

[Typical Significance] Chinese chemical engineering enterprises have successfully exported innovative technologies such as MTO/MTP to Central Asia, providing a complete engineering solution for the high-value utilization of Uzbekistan's natural gas resources, and further deepening China-Uzbekistan's capacity cooperation under the framework of the "Belt and Road".
