Phase I of the Super Complex uses petroleum refining waste as raw material to extract high-value vanadium products (vanadium pentoxide/vanadium iron), aligning with the goals of green economy and high-value resource utilization in Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030".

[Role of Chinese Enterprises] China Chemical TCC (TCC) won the EPC turnkey contract for Phase I of the ACMC Super Complex, with a contract value exceeding $200 million. The project involves constructing new chemical devices for the recycling of refining waste in the Jubail Industrial City in Saudi Arabia.

[Scope of Services] L4 EPC turnkey contract, undertaking engineering design, equipment procurement, and construction of vanadium concentrate extraction and vanadium oxide production devices, including the complete process flow of waste pre-treatment, vanadium extraction and refining, and product packaging.

[Typical Significance] This is the first time a Chinese chemical engineering enterprise has undertaken a large-scale EPC project in Saudi Arabia's circular economy new materials field, opening up a new track for Chinese enterprises in the Middle East high-value chemicals and circular materials field, and providing a new direction for the output of Chinese chemical technology.
