China National Petroleum Corporation Dalian Lubricant Branch is a core production base and regional operation center under PetroChina Lubricant Company, affiliated with PetroChina Company Limited. It undertakes lubricant research & development, production, warehousing, and market service functions for the Bohai Rim, Northeast China, and parts of North China. The company’s main products include automotive lubricants (e.g., KR9-T 0W-20 full-synthetic gasoline engine oil, KR9-D 10W-40 diesel engine oil), industrial lubricants (e.g., gear oils, hydraulic oils, transformer oils, railway locomotive-specific oils), specialty lubricating greases (e.g., wind turbine equipment greases), antifreeze coolants, additives, and other petroleum-derived products. These products are widely applied in automobile manufacturing, railway transportation, electric power, wind power generation, and equipment manufacturing sectors. The company possesses large-scale blending and fully automated filling capabilities with an annual production capacity exceeding 200,000 tons of lubricants. Its production lines comply with major international standards including API, ACEA, and JASO, and have passed third-party certifications from the China Academy of Railway Sciences, China Electric Power Research Institute, China Classification Society (CCS), and SGS. The enterprise holds the “National Industrial Product Production License” (XK06-014-00001) and has obtained certification for ISO 9001 Quality Management, ISO 14001 Environmental Management, and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (with surveillance audit passed in 2024). Leveraging the national-level enterprise technology center and Dalian R&D Center of PetroChina Lubricant Company, the company has participated in drafting or revising three national standards and five industry standards, and holds 12 invention patents and 23 utility model patents. KR9-series lubricants have been supplied as original equipment manufacturer (OEM) products to major vehicle manufacturers including Volkswagen, FAW, and Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle. Wind turbine greases have been deployed in onshore wind power projects in Liaoning Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Internationally, business is conducted primarily through PetroChina Lubricant Company’s unified export channels, covering Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and Africa markets via OEM manufacturing and private-label “Kunlun” branded products.
