Jiashili (Yicheng) Fertilizer Co., Ltd. is located in the Yicheng Economic Development Zone, Hubei Province. It is a modern compound fertilizer manufacturing enterprise jointly invested by Hubei Yihua Group and Sinochem Fertilizer Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of RMB 300 million. The company is designated as a National High-Tech Enterprise, a Hubei Provincial “Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative” SME, and a national demonstration unit for green fertilizer manufacturing. It operates stably at a large scale, with an annual designed production capacity of 2 million tons and an actual annual compound fertilizer output of approximately 1.85 million tons in 2024.  

The company focuses on the manufacturing of agricultural inputs, primarily engaging in research, development, production, and promotion of novel high-efficiency compound fertilizers, slow- and controlled-release fertilizers, water-soluble fertilizers, and soil conditioners. Its customer base includes farmer cooperatives, family farms, and regional agricultural technology extension systems serving major staple and cash crop production areas—such as rice, vegetables, and fruit trees.  

The enterprise possesses end-to-end process optimization capabilities and differentiated formula customization capabilities. Its technical approach centers on synergistic enhancement via composite formulations combining nitrate-based fertilizers, medium and trace elements, and biologically active substances. It maintains an in-house R&D center and a provincial-level enterprise technology center, having secured 12 authorized invention patents and 37 utility model patents to date. It has led the formulation of three industry standards—including “Nitrate Nitrogen-Containing Compound Fertilizers” (HG/T 5942–2021)—and participated in the revision of GB/T 15063–2020. The company holds certifications for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001; the National Industrial Product Production License (XK13-001-01289); the Fertilizer Registration Certificate (Agricultural Fertilizer (2023) Approval No. 1234); and the Grade II Standardization Certificate for Work Safety. In 2024, it passed the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation’s “Green Design Product” evaluation.  

Representative achievements include undertaking a sub-task under the national key R&D program during the 14th Five-Year Plan period: “Integrated Demonstration of Fertilizer Reduction and Collaborative Nutrient Regulation Technologies in Mid-Yangtze Rice-Growing Regions.” Twelve core demonstration zones covering 1,000 mu each have been established in Hubei, Hunan, and Jiangxi provinces, achieving average nitrogen reduction of 12.3% and yield increase of 4.7%. The product “Jiashili Nitro-Sulfur-Based Compound Fertilizer” has consecutively ranked among the “Recommended Fertilizer Products List” published annually by the National Agro-Technology Extension and Service Center for five years.  

The company’s products have completed pre-registration under the EU REACH Regulation; its water-soluble fertilizers have obtained import permits from the Ministries of Agriculture of Vietnam and the Philippines. In 2024, exports to Southeast Asia and Africa totaled 142,000 tons. Leveraging Sinochem International’s supply chain network, the company provides routine technical transfer and agrochemical services to Myanmar and Laos.
