Huaqiang Chemical Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Huaqiang Chemical”) was established in 2001, with its headquarters located in Yichang City, Hubei Province. It is a national high-tech enterprise, a Hubei Province “Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative” (SRDI) “Little Giant” enterprise, and a key enterprise under preparation for listing. The company operates at the intersection of basic chemical manufacturing and new materials within the broader chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing sector. Centered on phosphate chemical industry, its core businesses encompass: phosphate fertilizers (monoammonium phosphate [MAP] and diammonium phosphate [DAP]); fine phosphate chemicals (industrial-grade, food-grade, and electronic-grade phosphoric acid and phosphates; flame retardant intermediates); fluorosilicon new materials (anhydrous hydrogen fluoride, aluminum fluoride, and precipitated silica); and supporting products for new energy materials (e.g., precursor raw materials for battery-grade iron phosphate). Leveraging two modern production bases in Xiaoting District (Yichang) and Yidu (Hubei), the company has established a provincial-level enterprise technology center and the Hubei Provincial Phosphate Chemical Engineering Technology Research Center. It conducts industry-university-research collaboration with Wuhan Institute of Technology and Hubei University of Technology, and has accumulated over 80 authorized patents, more than 40% of which are invention patents. Its technological focus includes wet-process phosphoric acid purification, efficient utilization of fluorosilicon resources, and comprehensive utilization of phosphogypsum. In terms of certifications, the company has obtained ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management system certifications; holds the National Industrial Product Production License (for phosphate fertilizers and hazardous chemicals), Safety Production License, and Pollutant Discharge Permit; and has led or participated in formulating multiple national and industrial standards, including “Phosphoric Acid for Industrial Use” (GB/T 2091–2019) and “Calcium Hydrogen Phosphate for Feed Use” (GB/T 22549–2018). Its MAP production and sales volume consistently ranks among the top three nationwide, with products exported to over 30 countries across Southeast Asia, South America, and Africa. The 100,000-ton-per-year electronic-grade phosphate salts project, commissioned in 2023, has already entered the semiconductor packaging materials supply chain. Its phosphogypsum comprehensive utilization demonstration line consumes over one million tons annually and received the Second Prize of Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. Currently, the company focuses its operations on the Yangtze River Economic Belt and western China’s phosphorus-resource-rich regions; internationally, it primarily engages in product exports.
