Hubei Yihua Songzi Fertilizer Co., Ltd. was established in December 2011 and is located in Weishui Town, Songzi City, Hubei Province. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hubei Yihua Group specializing in the research, development, production, and sales of compound fertilizers, slow- and controlled-release fertilizers, water-soluble fertilizers, and novel functional fertilizers. The company’s registered capital and paid-in capital both amount to RMB 200 million. Zhang Zhonghua serves as its legal representative, and the company remains in active operation.  

The enterprise focuses on the mid- and downstream segments of the phosphate compound fertilizer industry chain. Leveraging regional synergies provided by Yihua Group—including phosphorite resources, synthetic ammonia production capacity, and phosphoric acid production capacity—it primarily manufactures high-concentration compound fertilizers (NPK series), humic acid-containing compound fertilizers, nitrate-based compound fertilizers, and water-soluble fertilizers tailored for cash crops. Its technical approach features “hierarchical utilization of multi-source phosphorus resources + precise N-P-K ratio formulation + synergistic enhancement of organic and inorganic components.” Some products have passed technological achievement appraisals conducted by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and attained domestic advanced standards.  

The company has obtained certifications for ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System. It holds the National Industrial Product Production License (Fertilizer Category), and all core products possess fertilizer registration certificates issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People’s Republic of China. In 2023, its actual output reached approximately 860,000 tons—accounting for 31% of Hubei Yihua Group’s total fertilizer output. Its products are distributed across more than ten major agricultural production provinces, including Hubei, Hunan, Henan, Jiangxi, and Guangxi. The company serves over 1,200 distributors and has established an agricultural chemical service system covering county-level administrative regions, routinely constructing demonstration fields for soil-testing and formula fertilization and delivering crop cultivation technique training.  

In the field of novel fertilizers, the company has participated in the research and development or application-oriented transformation of six authorized invention patents, covering areas such as coated slow-release materials and chelation processes for medium and trace elements. Currently, its business operations concentrate on China’s mid-reaches of the Yangtze River and South China—the principal grain and cash crop production zones—serving agricultural input channel partners, agricultural cooperatives, large-scale farming entities, and agricultural technology extension institutions. It provides customized fertilizer products, agricultural chemical technical services, and collaborative demonstration projects.
