Our company intends to implement the design for a 300,000 tons/year soda ash capacity expansion at the Kungler Soda Ash Plant. This project is a key expansion initiative for us. The plant currently has a capacity of 200,000 tons/year and is the sole soda ash supplier in Central Asia. The expansion will significantly increase capacity to meet the market demand in Uzbekistan and surrounding regions, consolidate its regional position, promote local chemical industry upgrading, and deepen China-Uzbekistan cooperation. As an expansion of the existing soda ash plant, this project can fully utilize existing public facilities and supporting resources. By referencing standards from similar domestic projects, we aim to control investment and construction timelines while balancing economic viability and compliance.

The core requirement of this project is the engineering design and supporting services for the 300,000 tons soda ash expansion. We are now tendering to select a cooperative unit to provide integrated full-process services. The key requirements are as follows: Provide expansion core technology and usage rights compatible with the existing plant, optimize the existing ammonia-soda process, address equipment interfacing and process adaptation issues, and ensure efficient, compliant, and energy-saving production; Complete basic and detailed design in accordance with local Uzbek regulations and our requirements, aligning with the plant's current layout, with a focus on designing new core equipment and retrofitting existing facilities, and deliver qualified construction design documents; Assist in the selection and procurement of core equipment to ensure it matches the expansion scale, is compatible with existing equipment, and meets large-scale production needs.

The project follows the principles of "efficient adaptation, energy-saving compliance, and quality and efficiency improvement." The cooperative unit must possess qualifications for large-scale soda ash expansion services, be proficient in relevant processes, and be familiar with Uzbek chemical industry regulations, GOST-UZ certification, and environmental and safety standards. This will ensure the project progresses compliantly, is commissioned on schedule, achieves economic benefits and industrial driving effects, and deepens practical and mutually beneficial cooperation in the chemical industry between China and Uzbekistan.

Additionally, to meet the production needs of the soda ash plant, our company plans to procure two elevator-type granulators for soda ash granulation, facilitating storage, transportation, and downstream use, thereby enhancing product added value. Referencing standards from similar domestic soda ash plants and India's SPIC soda ash plant, the procurement equipment is of large-capacity type, with a single unit monthly output of 10,000–15,000 tons. Contact parts are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, equipped with basic automated control functions, and compatible with existing production lines. The equipment must comply with chemical industry standards and local Indian compliance standards, with a particle degradation rate ≤5% and core components meeting standards. Suppliers must provide comprehensive after-sales service to ensure stable equipment operation and support efficient production at the soda ash plant.
