The Silk Road International Chemical Engineering Service Platform (hereinafter referred to as "the Platform") is a professional digital-intelligent carrier established to facilitate the practical implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), enable efficient alignment of China’s chemical engineering technologies and services, and support countries along the Silk Road. We aim to construct a global chemical industry service ecosystem platform that integrates full-process chemical engineering services, including process technology, engineering design, equipment procurement, engineering construction, and project management.
The Platform emerged from a critical reflection on the collaboration efficiency of the BRI in the chemical engineering service industry. Under traditional models, cross-border technology and service trade is plagued by challenges such as mismatches between professional technologies and services, communication barriers, and difficulties in trust endorsement. To address these pain points, we launched the Silk Road International Chemical Engineering Service Platform, with the objective of reconstructing the industrial trust system for process technologies and engineering services in the chemical industry via a digital platform, thereby forging a "Digital Silk Road" for the chemical sector.
